Cavanagh General Contracting is currently delivering two 10-unit affordable housing complexes in downtown Ottawa under a Construction Management contract for the Centretown Citizens Ottawa Corporation (CCOC), in partnership with the Centretown Affordable Housing Development Corporation (CAHDCO). Our team provided comprehensive design and pre-construction services, including conceptual estimating, value engineering, tendering, and ongoing project reviews through to completion.
Each building involves the demolition and abatement of existing structures, followed by the construction of new wood-framed buildings featuring siding, ACM panels, metal roofing, drywall, insulation, flooring, kitchens, and finished carpentry. The scope also includes comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and landscaping work, resulting in high-quality, functional residences that support affordable housing in Ottawa’s urban core.
