Northwoods Subdivision PH1–3A is a large-scale, vertically integrated development involving site servicing and grading preparation for 485 residential units. The project demonstrates strong coordination across multiple divisions, from aggregates and trucking to civil construction and residential teams.
The scope of work completed to date by the civil team includes:
- Installation of over 10 km of sewers and watermains, with pipe diameters ranging from 200 mm to 2,100 mm. Much of the underground works required blasting which was completed safely and on schedule by our subcontractor.
- Placement of nearly 210,000 tonnes of granular material, all sourced from our West Carleton Quarry in Almonte, ensuring full control over material quality, scheduling, and supply.
This integrated approach and communication between divisions at Cavanagh has supported efficient production, strong quality control, and consistent adherence to safety and environmental requirements throughout all phases of construction. As a result, the client has been able to transition seamlessly from servicing to homebuilding on their site.
