Overview:

The Sales and Marketing Manager is accountable for revenue generation, brand positioning, and customer experience across all communities, while playing a key role in corporate planning, product strategy, and long term growth.
As a member of the leadership team, the Sales and Marketing Manager sets vision and direction for the sales and marketing functions, translates business strategy into executable plans, and ensures tight alignment with Land, Construction, Design, and Finance. This role balances high level strategy with disciplined execution and measurable outcomes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales & Revenue Leadership

Own the overall sales strategy for Patten Homes, driving sustainable revenue growth, market share expansion, and absorption performance across all communities.
Establish enterprise level sales targets, forecasts, KPIs, and reporting frameworks aligned with corporate objectives.
Provide oversight of sales performance, pricing strategy, incentives, and pipeline management.
Ensure a best in class customer experience from first engagement through occupancy and warranty, reinforcing brand trust and loyalty.
Develop and lead the Sales team to build long term organizational capability.

Marketing and Brand Strategy and Execution

Define and execute Patten Homes’ brand, marketing, and market strategy, positioning the company as the Builder of Choice.
Oversee all marketing initiatives, including digital, traditional, experiential, and community launch strategies.
Ensure disciplined lead generation, conversion optimization, and ROI measurement across all marketing channels.
Provide strategic oversight of the corporate website, marketing technology stack, and CRM alignment to support scalable growth.
Guide creative direction to ensure consistency, differentiation, and alignment with target customer segments.

Market Intelligence & Product Strategy

Lead analysis of market trends, buyer behavior, competitive landscape, and economic indicators to inform strategic decisions.
Partner with Land and Construction leadership on community design, product mix, pricing architecture, and release strategies.
Stay current with design trends, materials, construction innovation, and sustainability practices, integrating insights into product and brand strategy.
Translate market intelligence into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.

Leadership, Governance & Financial Management

Serve as a key contributor to corporate planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Accountable for sales and marketing budgets, vendor performance, and resource allocation.
Establish governance, standards, and processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability across communities.
Present performance insights, risks, and strategic recommendations to the executive team.
Foster a high performance, accountability driven culture across sales and marketing

Requirements:

  • Post secondary education in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline; MBA considered an asset.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in sales and marketing, with senior level accountability.
  • Proven success driving revenue growth and brand performance within residential construction, real estate development, or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated experience leading managers and senior professionals, not just individual contributors.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
  • Exceptional executive communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills

Wage Range:

The salary range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $120,000 and $150,000 per year. However, the range offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
