Road Service Coordinator

Reports to: Fleet Repair Manager

Location: 9094 Cavanagh Road (Ashton, Ontario)

Overview:

We are currently looking for a full-time Road Service Coordinator to work at our Ashton Facility. The day shift would be Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. This position would be reporting to our Fleet Repair Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as main point of contact for road service, answer incoming service phone calls, advise the operator on the best course of action based on knowledge and workflow chart.
  • Clearly and effectively communicate breakdown issues and repair timelines with fleet dispatch and shop managers via text, phone call or email.
  • Monitor real time technician location and dispatch service vehicles based on location and workload.
  • Prepare and submit equipment maintenance reports, etc.
  • Monitor preventative maintenance and book into third party and internal shops as needed

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have strong communication skills, and a positive attitude.
  • Strong multitasking and time-management skills to handle multiple requests simultaneously.
  • Ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude/knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft word, excel and Adobe.
  • Fully supports and actively participates in the team safety program based on culture and innovation.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Wage Range:

The hourly range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $25.00 and $30.00 per hour. However, the range offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
