Overview:

We are looking for a full-time 310B Auto Body and Collision Damage Repairer to join our fleet and maintenance team. The shift would be from Monday to Friday from 7:00AM to 5:00PM. This position would be reporting to our Shop Supervisor.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural and non-structural repairs on trucks, vans, trailers, and construction-related vehicles.
  • Repair dents, panels, frames, fenders, and body components using industry-standard tools and equipment.
  • Conduct fibreglass, aluminum, and metalwork repairs as required.
  • Remove, replace, and adjust body components including doors, hoods, grills, bumpers, and trim.
  • Inspect vehicles for structural integrity, corrosion issues, and safety concerns.
  • Document repair work in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Operate welding equipment, , hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely.
  • Follow all health and safety protocols, including PPE requirements and WHMIS guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
  • Work closely with the fleet maintenance team to schedule repairs and prioritize urgent jobs.
  • Communicate repair timelines, issues, and recommendations to supervisors.
  • Support broader fleet projects and maintenance initiatives as required.

Requirements:

  • Valid Ontario 310B Auto Body and Collision Damage Repairer License (mandatory).
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in auto body repair (construction or heavy equipment fleet experience is an asset).
  • Strong knowledge of OEM repair standards, metal forming, refinishing, and structural repair methods.
  • Experience with MIG welding, spot welding, and plastic repair techniques.
  • Ability to read technical diagrams, damage reports, and repair manuals.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Valid Ontario G-Class driver’s licence (DZ is an asset).
  • Must supply own tools.
  • Experience mentoring apprentices or junior technicians is considered an asset.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work including standing, bending, and working in confined or elevated spaces.

Wage Range:

The hourly range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $30.00 and $38.00 per year. However, the range offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
