Health and Safety Coordinator will support operations by providing guidance and assistance at the site level with, health and safety program implementation, execution of planned health and safety initiatives, and adherence to legislative & company standard requirements. Work closely with site operations to ensure appropriate health and safety practices are in place, understood and effectively used to avoid preventable health and safety occurrences.
Learning Opportunities and Responsibilities:
- Help manage the execution of health and safety improvement plans by tracking progress, ensuring deadlines are met, and action items are completed. Your organizational skills will be key to keeping everything on track!
- Play a crucial role in the communication and execution of health and safety programs. You’ll help coordinate meetings, send out updates, and ensure all teams are informed about safety priorities.
- Be involved in incident reporting and investigations. You’ll assist in documenting incidents, ensuring that reports are filed properly, and follow up to track resolution.
- Work closely with management to ensure health and safety systems are maintained and improved. You’ll help organize records, prepare safety reports, and assist in updating procedures to keep everyone on track.
- Keep a close eye on audit action plans, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner. Your attention to detail will help keep the team focused on achieving their safety goals.

Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in Health and Safety Program is required
- Valid driver’s license and own mode of transportation
- Team player and willingness to learn new things.
- Open availability to work Monday to Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM
