Project Coordinator assists the Project Team with the overall coordination, scheduling, and execution of all residential asphalt projects as required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Manager with planning, organizing, and implementing all aspects of the project in accordance with project specifications.
- Work closely with Cavanagh employees on daily tasks, coordination, and project support.
- Act as a liaison between field and office teams.
- Review ongoing fieldwork to ensure compliance with contract specifications and quality standards.
- Help identify, track, and bill extra work.
- Help build long-term and short-term schedules for construction.
- Ensure field implementation of safety measures.
- Ensure adherence to COR measures.
- Oversee and coordinate asphalt paving projects, including residential driveways, estate home paving, and private roadways.
- Work closely with clients, site supervisors, and crews to ensure high-quality paving for driveways and large residential properties.
- Assist in estimating, scheduling, and executing high-end residential paving projects to meet client expectations and industry standards.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress and quality, particularly for estate homes and private driveways.
- Address any technical or logistical challenges related to driveway and estate home paving.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a construction role is required
- Previous asphalt experience is required
- Construction Technician or Civil Engineering Technician diploma considered an asset
- Experience in residential paving projects, including driveways and estate homes, is a strong asset.
- Valid driver’s license and own mode of transportation is required
- Working schedule consists of working Monday to Friday; however, candidate must have open availability of working days, nights, and/or weekend shifts is required
