Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and objectives for data integration, analysis & development.
  • Design and maintain pipelines in Foundry to efficiently manage data flow across various platforms.
  • Work closely with IT department to Implement integration solutions to ensure seamless connectivity with different systems.
  • Develop custom applications and workflows to streamline processes.
  • Provide expert support for in-house and third-party tools, collaborating with end-users for solutions.
  • Develop and support Palantir – Foundry powered in house operating system
  • No previous Palantir experience required
  • Provide expert support with applications, workflows and other tools

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a developer role
  • Engineering background, preferred in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, and Data Science.
  • Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools.
  • Proficiency with one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar.
  • Experience performing data integration using code-based or low/no-code solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to work within large data sets.

The Procurement Analyst – Vehicle Fleet and Expense Management will play a key role in managing the procurement and lifecycle of Thomas Cavanagh Construction’s vehicle fleet. This position is responsible for overseeing the entire process of vehicle acquisition, vendor management, and contract negotiations, ensuring that vehicles are procured cost-effectively and efficiently. The role also involves managing fuel and credit card systems, tracking fleet expenses, and ensuring compliance with budget and operational requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong procurement background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and vendors, supporting the company’s commitment to operational excellence and cost management in fleet operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administer the allocation of vehicles within the fleet, ensuring that all vehicles are assigned appropriately and in a timely manner to meet company needs.
  • Coordinate the procurement of new vehicles, including obtaining quotes, administrating contracts, and managing the purchase process.
  • Coordinate the disposal or sale of vehicles at the end of their lifecycle, ensuring proper handling of paperwork, contracts, and disposal procedures.
  • Report and track fuel card usage, ensuring cost control and adherence to company policies. Administer and track fleet-related expenses, including credit cards, to ensure proper allocation.
  • Concur Expense Management include accurately submitting and approving expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies, providing reporting and analysis, and offering support and training to employees while maintaining the system and managing reimbursements.

Requirements

  • A degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field would be an asset.
  • Experience with vehicle procurement processes, fleet management, and related supply chain functions would be highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with budgets and expenses, including cost optimization strategies and reporting.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in fleet management, vehicle procurement, or a related administrative role would be required
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in managing expenses, contracts, and vehicle records
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with SAP Concur is highly beneficial.

Grading Labourer will work under the supervision of a foreperson setting grades, checking elevations, dumping trucks, and working with heavy equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret construction drawings
  • Use survey instruments to establish correct line and grade
  • Identify any conflicts and report to site supervisor
  • Work with engineers and surveyors to solve problems
  • Achieve correct grade by directing operators of equipment to adjust grade by moving earth, gravel, and other materials
  • Measure distances from reference points or offsets to accurately install utilities

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in grading as a labourer is required
  • Strong knowledge of grading techniques, surveying, and construction specifications.

Heavy Equipment Mechanic repairs and maintains heavy duty equipment; responsible for diagnosis, repairs, assembles and disassembles on large equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting heavy construction equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnosing faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems using hand and power tools
  • Testing repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers’ specifications
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment

Requirements:

  • Must be a certified Red Seal 421A Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate the rubber tire roller, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
