Overview:
Our team is growing; we are looking at hiring a Delivery Driver/Yard Labourer for our Albion Quarry. The Ideal candidate will be delivering products (sand, gravel, etc.) on site in a triaxle, and to job sites as needed, and also be required to assist in the yard when needed. This position is Monday-Friday (occasional saturday’s) and expected to be 8-10 hour days.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver internal materials to cement plant
- Communicates in a friendly professional manner with internal staff members
- Operates and maintains company vehicle safely and efficiently
- Follow all regulations for a CVOR vehicle, including a circle check
- Handles all physical requirements for loading, transporting, and driving without assistance
- Executes accurate and timely handling of delivery requests
- Prepares accurate paperwork and records
Requirements:
- DZ License
- Labour experience required and driving experience with a trailer would be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of the City and surrounding area roads
- Clean drivers abstract
- Must be able to lift tools that are 50 lbs. and above
- Must be comfortable with working in all weather conditions

Wage Range:
The hourly range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $29.00 per hour and $31.00 per hour. However, the range offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
