We are seeking additional experienced concrete labourers and form setters for our forming division. These individuals will be responsible for all manual labor necessary for the construction of concrete foundations. This role requires experience working with concrete footings and walls with strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and consistent situational awareness.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assemble footings and stand panels
  • Install rebar
  • Ability to brace wall, install and disassemble scaffolding
  • Operation of a power tools
  • Prepare walls before pouring – operate oil sprayer
  • Install sleeves in correct location
  • Install wall beam pockets
  • Install windows (drops, buck windows)
  • Pump, vibrate and float concrete
  • Install anchor bolts
  • Install dowels
  • Strip footings and walls
  • Shovel dirt or stone
  • Dig pads
  • Patch walls after stripped
  • Cut concrete
  • Maintain a clean and safe worksite
  • Assist foreman when required
  • All other duties as assigned

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Concrete experience required
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations
  • Physical stamina for demanding tasks
  • Experience using tools
  • Excellent communication skills and positive attitude
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Willingness to learn new skills and follow directions
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Wage Range:

The hourly range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $25.00 and $30.00 per hour. However, the range offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
