Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Administrator in the Accounts Payable department. You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently inputting financial data into our accounting system. Duties and Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in an account’s payable administration position
  • Knowledge of general accounting procedures
  • Knowledge of the construction industry preferred
  • Prior use of Vista software would be considered an asset

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist sites with the execution of health and safety improvement plans, identifying improvement areas, developing and supporting execution of action plans
  • Work directly with the project teams, to ensure implementation and ongoing improvement of health and safety systems within the operation
  • Participate in the effective communication and execution of programs associated with the Health and Safety Management System
  • Coach, guide and assist site personnel in understanding their responsibilities related to management of health and safety particularly hazard recognition and control, risk assessment, and application of the hierarchy of controls
  • Assist in the development of safe work processes for industrial, aggregate and construction projects with a focus on high-risk activity
  • Provide on-site support in conducting incident investigations and ensure timely reporting

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in safety management software, MS Office, and data analysis tools for tracking incidents and training.
  • Valid driver’s license (e.g., Ontario “G” class) and reliable transportation for site visits.
  • Strong communication skills to conduct training, lead safety audits, and liaise with regulatory bodies like the WSIB or Ministry of Labour.
  • Ability to interpret and apply local, provincial, and federal safety regulations to ensure organizational compliance
  • A bachelor’s degree or college diploma in occupational health and safety, environmental health, or a related field
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in safety compliance, incident investigation, and program development.
  • CRSP or Gold Seal Certifications.

The hourly range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $28.00 and $38.00 per hour. However, the range offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
