We are seeking a highly organized and professional individual to join our Corporate Office located in Ashton, ON as a Human Resources & Recruitment Coordinator (1 year contract). In this role, you will support key HR functions including employee lifecycle management, recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, HRMIS data maintenance, and a variety of administrative responsibilities. You will work closely with both employees and management to ensure smooth HR processes and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, orientation, and offboarding.
- Respond to HR inquiries, prepare employment letters, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRMIS, including probationary periods, benefits, and pension tracking.
- Manage HR documentation and personnel files with confidentiality and accurate.
- Support recruitment by reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens, coordinating interviews, and preparing offers and orientation materials.
- Participate in interviews by engaging with candidates, documenting responses, and tracking feedback to support hiring decisions.
- Assist with employee training initiatives and company-wide events.
- Collaborate with managers and departments to support HR processes and initiatives.
- Provide general HR administrative support as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in human resources is required
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and respond to changing demands
- Full-time, on-site role with standard office hours
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
